Which version of Star Spangled Banner is more patriotic?

Whitney. I don't vote for no brit trying to make money off of true American Pride!

Hendrix was American. Not only that, but he served in the Army.

I also don't know how he claims that Hendrix was trying to make money off American Pride, considering he performed at WOODSTOCK. I wonder how much it cost for Whitney to sing it at the superbowl.

To be fair, performing at Woodstock was HIGHLY profitable for every band that showed up. It made all of them instant legends.

In fact, most of them knew this would be the case before hand.

Yeah but most of the bands at Woodstock, if not all, had the chops to back up being legends. I think the event/timing makes it more patriotic than Whitney just getting paid to sing at the SuperBowl.

Jimi @ Woodstock. My eyes well up every time I hear that song. What a beautiful way to show love for country and distaste for government.
