lol, there's more than one version?

One game I did kill a lot of hours with back in middle school though was Axis and Allies. Damn that was a fun game. Spawned a lot of it's different versions too, I believe

I've never tried Castle Risk, do you have a link to it by any chance?

Lately, I've been enjoying 2210 A.D. RISK myself. I always try to take over the moon. :D

The original was my favorite, but castle risk was fun for relatively quick games.

original for sure

although playing it on the computer is so much easier, takes all the admin out of it

realtivly is the operative word, castle risk games end after 4-6 hours typically

I like the original original version with the roman numeral pieces instead of the pieces they have now.

Screw that. The moon has nothing...the key to that game is making sure no one controls the oceans.

Castle Risk was actually pretty fun. I also have an original set, with wood pieces. I prefer to play that just for the nostalgia.

here ya go!

Innnnnnnnnteresting, thank you. Might be worth picking up if it's still in stores, especially if it takes fewer hours to play. The last time I played RISK, it was from 8pm to about 4am.

Hmm, I've never tried to play it from that angle. The moon has its pro's and con's - one time I had all my territories on Earth taken over, and my space stations were taken over... subsequently leaving me stranded. :(

Only played original and Castle, so can't comment on the others. In the original everyone always go for Australia.

One night we stayed up late playing and it got so loud that neighbors called the cops on us.

The best version is the OLD OLD version where the pieces were just colored cubes, not canons or horses. Those were the days.

Risk is awesome.

Can you play the PC version with other people, or is it only you vs. the computer?

I must admit, I'm tempted. :)
