Which version of Lost will look better?

For reasons unknown to me, Comcast decided to quit recording last night's episodes of Lost while I cooked dinner, both new and the rerun I missed from last week. As you could guess I need my fix...

Which is be better quality or will they be the same?

1. Bittorrent Xvid
2. Xbox Live Marketplace (assuming they have it)
3. Appletv

I don't believe any of the above are in HD (which I prefer).

You can torrent the 720p version. Not sure about 1080p though, as all I have is a 720p TV heh.

Can the website do full screen? I have a 52" AQUOS and don't care to watch it on my 14" laptop.

i think so but i'm not sure. i can't confirm right now since i'm at work and the player needs to be installed but it should be easy enough for you to check the site.

Why don't you just torrent the HD version? Or the XVID Version, which realistically speaking is better than the HD version they show on ABC.com.

xbox live marketplace has it in hd and it will probably look better than the 720p version you would get from torrents (since it would have been transcoded from mpeg2 to avc)

Don't Torrent. ABC gets no money if you do that. They are offering an awesome product and are even willing to stream it in HD for FREE. Just watch it on ABC.com

The website quality is pretty good (way better than any of the other networks). The quality sucks for the first few seconds, but it gets way better. It's in 720p but you can enlarge it to full screen and it still looks good, although not as clear as it would be when you watch it on your tv in HD. I watched season 1 that way and had no complaints at all.

Since you have an xbox, the other option is to dl it via newsgroups (it's there in 720p) or some other way and watch it on your tv via xbox media center. I did that for the pilot of this season and honestly I couldn't tell the difference between that and the HD cable broadcast.

sometimes within the previous month, their HD quality just went up through the roof. very very nice picture. their SD is still terrible, but HD looks nice!

Their cable boxes look like utter scheit. I've noticed that the capture card in my computer does a MUCH better job of capturing their analog stream.

the GUI for their scientific atlanta box.. designed by a monkey.
even the remote design is stupid.

and i cant even set a favorites/ignored list of channel to browse through ... how 1985 is that? (you can have 5 "favorites" channel that you 1-way cycle through..)
