which version of detonator drivers to use with directx 8?

i havent been updating my drivers since the last time i installed win2000. just wondering if anyone out there knows which version of the drivers are good with directx 8.

I've used Detonator v7.17 ... it's compatible with DX8 (OMG ... extra fps !!!)
