Company will buy me one to get Exchange email. I don't like HUGE phones as I prefer to have it in my pocket, not in a belt holder. Which is the best combo? I'm not huge on apps or anything either.

Depends what you value:

Data speed, nice screen -- Droid Charge
Hardware KB, world phone -- Droid 2 Global
Being a Steve Jobs acolyte -- iPhone4

If the two Droid options above are too big (go to a store and put them in your hand!), the Incredible 2 is a good fallback that should be trouble-free. iPhone is the smallest, but you'll need a case for proper reception and to make up for the phone's relative fragility (two glass faces = danger).

On the company's dime, I'd definitely get a Charge. Insane screen and data speeds.

Have you taken the OTA? Some people saying it fixes a drain issue.

It was updated in the store, running ED2.

I wasn't expecting great battery life with LTE, but this is so bad I'm definitely thinking something is up and it's not normal.

Yeah, unless you're in a marginal area where it's constantly flip-flopping, I'd suspect some sort of specific device issue. The reviews all say good battery life even on LTE. (Despite, I'd guess, the compulsion to turn the SAMOLED+ screen on to stare at it...)

does your company support email through everyone? BB, Apple, Andorid?

Yup. Everyone just kind of said, "Oh, cool, get an iPhone". But that's because many people (including me) don't really know what's even comparable. I hear great things about android. We have a Blackberry Enterprise Server too.

Well, what's most important to you? You said you aren't big on apps. Have you given them a try to know for sure? Do you value battery life and the simple phone functions above all else? Are you going to watch/listen to media on this phone?

prime example of how anti-apple fanboys are worse than apple fanboys.

Just a good phone with good reception that can get email. Something that runs quickly, is quite durable, and can fit in my pocketsees. I like to surf the web and look up addresses, phone numbers, weather, etc. I guess a mobile PC. I don't do a lot of multi media like songs and video though.

I guess I could get into the apps, I just never really tried them out.

Ask your employer to get you a Blackberry Bold. Exchange loves Blackberry very much and fit in your tight pocket very well.

End of discuss.

Pretty much anything can run exchange very well... and if you find a device that doesn't then Touchdown will fix that. :)

You made a good choice on the Inc 2.
