Which verizon phone should I get (or would you get)

I'm porting my T-mobile number to Verizon since I get a discount through my company.

I'm considering the LGVX6000 or the Samsung SCH-a610

Or should I wait a little longer to get LGVX7000? However, I read that it takes Verizon up to a year to test and approve their phones.

Does anyone know when the LGVX7000 is going to be available?

Or should I just get a phone right now?

VX4500 or the new Kyocera Slider .... IMO, camera phones are worthless .. pic quality sucks. Just get a small dig. camera.

can't tell you the one i liked, cause i didn't bother looking at the model number. im a few months shy from ending my Cingular contract and imma jump over to Verizon.

personally, im waiting for the vx8000

i do agree a camera can be worthless at times, but sometimes you'll be happy to have it. example, my family runs a chroming business, and people bring in parts for estimates. but the guy who does estimates might be out on the field doing delivery's or pick-up's, and so people come down for nothing and its a waste of their time (secretary cant do estimates). with a camera phone, they can take quick pictures, send it to the* estimator, and he can quickly respond with a price. but of course, there are people who abuse the camera feature...

I have the VX6000 and love it. The size isn't a big deal for me. The nice color screen and easy to navigate menu make this phone really good. It also has really loud ringtones.

according to a reliable source at HoFo, vx8k by the end of the year *according to a lg rep. since the phone is ev-do capable, im willing to bet it'll come out around the same time verizon plans to roll it out (which is later this year, supposedly). ive heard this summer for the vx7k, which would make sense, but they could always scrap that phone all together and just focus on the vx8k. i believe both are in testing also, but not completly sure about the 8k.

edit: in case you have questions/want to know what ev-do is... link
1X EV-DO offers speeds of 300 to 500 kilobits per second, or about 10 times the average dial-up connection speed. That is a significant increase over AT&T Wireless' EDGE network, which currently claims to be the fastest wide-area network in the United States. AT&T Wireless launched its EDGE service, which offers data rates of about 140 kbps, nationwide late last year.
