Which VENICE overclocks better?

ADA3000AA4BP......YBBLE 0525DPCW
ADA3200AA4BP......LBBLE 0519FPCW

Id appreciate if you could tell me which one is better and which one can OC more. My aim is to hit AT LEAST 2.7GHz.

Problem is I've Googled around and can't find ANY information on these steppings 🙁.

Neither are particularly good steppings. I'd probably go with the 0519 of the two, but both will likely max between 2600 and 2700 on air with reasonable voltage.

3200+ 10x mult 2.2GHz blah... can be oc to 2.8Ghz on stock cooler... if you got a good motherboard like MSI K8 SLI / DFI SLI-DR or the new awesome ATI (ULI)/crossfire motherboards

Hmm. No need to have an SLI board to overclock, only necessary if you want to use SLI, you will get no benefits out of it other than that.

When you say "new awesome ATI (ULI)/crossfire motherboards" I am assuming you mean motherboards with the new(ish) ULI chipsets and motherboards with the new ATI Crossfire chipsets that you would have a very hard time finding now, as reviewers, like our very own anand here, has only recently received a reference board from ATI.

i have a ADA3000AA4BP......LBBLE 0519FPCW

around 2.6 ghz at 1.48 volts
around 2.65 ghz at 1.55 volts
around 2.7 ghz at 1.58 volts

on air, these mythical venices that were hitting 2.8, i don't think they were any week that was a guarantee, its just chip specific

Don't be surprised if the chip is a total dud either. I've read severial people getting less than 2.4MHz OC on the Venice. In fact mine (wk 31) only goes up to 2340 on a EPOX 9NPA+ Ultra (one of the best OCer boards out there) with xp-90 (load temps = 42C).

Yea my chip was very different from most. I was able to get 2.61 but with 1.62 voltage set in my bios. Whereas most can get that with like 1.5-1.55 volts
