Which V8 is better - 5.7L LS1 or 5.7L Hemi?

With the arrival of the GTO and the coming of the Magnum (supposedly), which engine is better? As in which is better stock, and which is easier to work on and mod? I know that the LS1 already has a ton of goodies out for it, but I'm not familiar with the Hemi.

LS1 - 350ci, 350hp@5200rpm, 360lb-ft@4000rpm
Hemi - 345ci, 345hp@5400rpm, 375lb-ft@4400rpm

Its too early to tell if they new hemi will be great... and it will be DAMN near impossible to beat the LS1.
