Which updgrade should I do?

My current mobo/proc/RAM: Intel D875PBZ (Canterwood)
P4 3.06 533 HT
2x 512 Corsair XMS PC 3200 (currently @ 333)

My current Vid Card: GeForce 4 Ti 4600

Should I:

a. Upgrade the processor to an 800 mhz chip

b. Upgrade the graphics card to a 5900 Ultra/9800 pro?

c. Don't upgrade; wait for the next big processor/video card

Your processor is already top end. The 3.0c is pretty much neck in neck to the 3.06HT, albeit sometimes just a tad faster.

If your games are running slow, you can upgrade the card, but then again, you obviously have a lotta $, and I could use a check from you 🙂

j/k 😉

Everything looks very high-end.

Why are you asking what should you upgrade if everything runs nicely. Definitely wait for the next big thing in the Video card industry.

I would wait for the Prescot to come out in a few months and upgrade then. The TI 4600 is plenty good for another year.

If I were you, I'd hold out for some time. That ti4600 should be able to play most games very nicely. My friend has a VERY similar setup, actually everything you listed is exactly the same. Do I know you? You should be able to tell by my signature...

Also, I'd wait some time, atleast a few months because that ti4600 can handle any of today's games and will infact be able to play Doom 3 and HL2 nicely, although without any AA and a high level of AF. I'd wait until the next series of cards is out and get one of those since you seem to be fine right now.
