Planning to pair it up with a 3200+ or 3500+ Venice. I don't know which of the will get me 250 or 275 stable. Also any other recommendations besides these under $200 (limit). Thanks.
 
i was torn between the vx and the plat rev 2. the vx is crazy good but pumping all those volts kinda worried me, probably unfounded. the rev2 will still get him to his 250-275.

man i keep thinking of getting some of that vx joy tho.

If not, then get VX, run it at 3.5V (under warranty I believe, it may be 3.4V), and have a case fan blowing over it. You could get a beautiful low latency OC from that.
