Which TV to buy?

I'm planning to buy a 32" flat TV soon. I've narrowed it down to the Sony Wega KV-32FS17,
the Panasonic Tau CT-32SX31, and the Toshiba 32" 32AF41. They are all about the same
price. The Toshiba doesn't have PIP while the others do, but PIP isn't very important to me.
Anyone out there have one of these? If you do, please give me your opinion of how the TV
has performed and how satisfied you are with it.

I don't know those models specifically, but try to get one that has PROGRESSIVE SCAN inputs... this will make DVD's look SO much better.

If none of them have this... at least get component inputs. The Vegas are good... i think the Panasonic is pretty good too.

Whatever you get... you should buy "AVIA's guide to Home Theater" DvD. IT will help you set brightness, sharpness, colors, etc. on your TV. Also, look for web forums that discuss your particular model... you may find tips on how to make the picture better. TV's are shipped with substandard settings... Most people pay a lot for a "GREAT" model... when they could have gotten nearly the same picture out of an "AVERAGE" model with some calibration/proper setting.

Just my $0.02.

Viper.. my bad... I had no idea.

After I bought my front projection system about 1.5 years ago... I just sort of quit caring about normal TVs. I guess I'm a videophile (or video nazi if you want another term)... and can't stand watching a widescreen DVD get crushed into 2/3 of the TV screen, nor can I deal with the jaggies that non-progressive scan results in.
