Which torrent program lets you limit bandwidth?

We are currently using ABC torrent around my apartment to dl tv shows, but when my roomates use it they suck up all the bandwidth and I cant do jack on the net. I cant figure out how to limit it in ABC torrent. Any other decent torrent DL program out there?

I know azureus has bandwidth limiters. I am not sure they would have a "total bandwidth" limtier, but you can check...

The ones I've used (Bitornado and Azureus) both allowed limited downloading.

why are you using torrents around your apartment? just use a regular network...will balance the load and probobly go faster?

Just have a talk with your roommates. I did with mine and we agreed to cap our upload at 10KB/s each (thanks to charter's magnificently crappy 256 kilobit up - although the 3 megabit down is nice)

The thing is that I dont really know how to limit it using ABC. I just downloaded an old program I used to use, Torrentstorm, and it seems to have a limiter but I remember having probelms with this prog.... anyways I will check it out tonight.

BitComet is the best client for BT.
It also has limiters.
