I've got Nero 5.5.whatever.the.latest.version.is, and CDR Identifier 1.63. Nero has SMARTburn enabled.
The discs in question are some Memorex discs, rated for 4x-12x use on the wrapper; Nero agrees with this.
CDR Identifier says they're only good to 8x.
Who's right? I'm only going to do what CDR Identifier says, for now; just wondering if it's being overly cautious.
Also, there was a database somewhere that lists all the manufacturers, which are good, adequate, and crap, and whose discs are sold under which names. Anyone happen to know where this site is? I was at it a few days ago, but can't figure out how I found it.
