Which to install first...video card driver or Via 4in1?

I can never get this straight- do I install the 4in1s or the video card (g400 max) drivers first? This will be in W2k.

I'm installing it tomorrow (well, really later when I wake up after I go to sleep in a few minutes).

Well for me, I installed 4in1 first, then my Radeon drivers. Everything works fine.

Always install the 4in1's before your graphics drivers.

i just sold my old athlon machine. it had a gigabyte ga-7zm mobo, and i got it when it came out with the original bios. i just clean installed for the new owner, and well i didnt even bother installing the 4 in 1s. its worked like that for a long time. i had a radeon too btw.

4in1's before video? Damn I always have done vid first because it's hard to think and install clearly on a damn 640x480 res.

You just remove old graphic driver
and install new 4in 1
then install new or current graphic driver.

i thought the reason you reinstall 4-in-1 for each driver update is to overwrite the gfx driver's agp port driver (or gart driver i am inclied to think) with that of 4-in-1. personally never had any problem installing the gfx driver first, i guess it really doesnt matter then.

When I update the 4in1s, I just update them. I don't uninstall or re-install anything else.

OK, do any of you guys have proof, like a review? I've done it both ways, but didn't see a diff either way.
