Heheh I got Drive Image Pro 4, comes with PQ Magic 6.0 and DI 4.0 for $35US. And I quite like Drive Image, but I haven't had the chance to use Ghost so I can't compare.
But Drive Image is great!
i've used ghost, and its very easy, course i got ghost for free, from the norton representative, at a store i worked at, and all of nortons year 2001 stuff, its great, any questions about how to use it, just pm me
Which product can combine two smaller hard drives on to one bigger hard drive? It seems I'm always running into people that are allergic to deleting, fdisking, and formatting. They want to save everything, and have everything be fast and error free. Also, they probably don't have the original disks for some mission critical application.
Also, is the finished product (the new hard drive) bootable? I mean, do you have to reinstall the O/S or is it good to go immediately? Reinstalling the O/S on top of an old installation seems like a horrible sin to me.
I used Drive Image to copy my OS from a 2Gig partition on one drive to a 4gig partiton on a 2nd drive, then I swapped a couple jumpers to make the 2nd drive my first boot drive, and the OS booted perfectly, it was as if nothing had changed.

You can get a RAID card and if they're the same size. There is also a feature called "Spanning" that let's you use any 2 drives, but doesn't offer the benefits of RAID 0 or 1. Not all cards support this feature.
