I've never heard of Hankook before. I have heard of Falken.

There's probably not much of a difference between the two based on those specs, so I chose the one with the higher tredwear.

Flip a coin...

Hankook's are junk. Falken's have a reputation for performance and reliability. Consumer magazines are there for unbiased reviews not advertising. :roll:

I agree with summitdrinker, go to www.tirerack.com. They have reviews and ratings of all the tires. It will allow you to make an educated decision.
Considering you live in the Northeast. You may want to consider BF Goodrich Traction T/A's.

Seriously?

Just buy all 4. Buying only 3 is dumb.

EDIT: mismatched tires with different tread levels, grip, and wear characteristics can lead to increased wear on suspension parts, etc.
