Which Temperature information should I trust?

I'm getting two different results with two different temperature monitoring software.

CPUID Hardware Monitor is saying my C2D CPUs are running at 47-50C

But Intel TAT is saying that they are running at 34-36C

The difference is huge and I don't know which one to trust.

I'm running E6750 at 3.0GHZ with stock fan.
