Which temp reading is more accurate?

I have a TBird 800 (not oced) on an Abit KT7 (noRAID). In the BIOS and the VIA hardware monitor, I get CPU temps at 35C (idle). But in Sandra under the Mainboard Information, it gives me 56C at idle! Which one is more accurate? My guess would be the BIOS and the VIA HM right?

Sandra is definately wrong, but its not like the kt7 thermistor is all the accurate.

I thought so too. What would you reckon to be the best way to measure the temp?

get a external hardware device. you cant go wrong there. like a digital DOC

I second lotusts decision, but as long as your system is running stable, i really wouldn't worry about it.
