which temp is being reported?

Ok I'm about to put together a new system with a Biostar M7NCG-T (mATX nForce2) motherboard. I'm using an AXP 1700+ JIUHB DLT3C. The motherboard has a thermistor in the processor socket. So my question is: in the BIOS (and using other utilities like MBM) will the temperature displayed be the one taken by the thermistor or the probe inside the processor?

well how do I get to view the temperature reported by the internal diode?

To my knowledge you can't.

for mbm you can choose to view both the socket and diode temps for nforce2 boards
