Blinders--you have them. The Cult of Jobs has convinced you of many hilarious things.

That's just the beginning of what's wrong with that post. There's so many layers of FAIL. Been a while since I've seen a fail onion.

Bill Gates. If we ever get a malaria vaccine it'll largely be due to his money, and a vaccine for that would save more lives than any medical discovery since penicillin.

Indeed. Although no one single thing is to blame for the colossal cluster fuck that Africa has become Malaria is up there in the top 5 reasons. It's also a big problem outside the continent too.

I wouldn't consider these people tech geniuses. Successful business people. Not tech geniuses.

Does anyone really consider Facebook to be a technological marvel?

You should have included Meg Whitman in the poll...

But, I'm gonna have to go with Bill Gates, he has done amazing philanthropic work.

I honestly don't like any of those guys. They all come across as snooty, arrogant individuals who would probably be a terror to work for. Also, they're all college dropouts.

Out of all the techs ive worked with in the last 10+ years, the college grads were some of the worst. Many of the techs I consider to be the best are self taught. I say this even though i am a college grad

How about all the billions he sucked out of the tech industry in the 90s? How many startups were destroyed by Microsoft entering their market with the sole intention of taking over? Embrace and extend.

Anybody can sign a check for charity. It takes a heartless prick to shut innovative startups down just to make a multi-billion dollar outfit a few more million.

Hi Steve! St Peter let you take an iPad in those Pearly Gates with you did he?

If you want to talk about heartlessness, how about Jobs disowning his own kids and using Chinese labour?
