Obviously posting on this forum will get results for Team Anandtech, and posting the same question on others will get results for them.
And, whichever forum seems to have the most people watching the thread, will have the highest number of votes.
What I will do, however, is try to point out some of the good points, outside of purely the DC project 🙂
I feel that here, on Team Anandtech, you will be with the best people on the internet. The people here are quick to jump in and help with any problems you're having, whether it be anything from setting up a DC project, something wrong with your computer, or even if something has happened in real life.
We have Team members that have literally had their life saved by the people here. David McOwen is one of those people. His life was literally shattered when the State of Georgia bought fines on him for running RC5 on computers he had at a place he was working. The people here donated money, time, support and ideas, which helped David overcome the huge legal bills, and the stress bought on by this ordeal. He for one is one person who owes his life to the Team members here.
We also have another person, Roy Cain, who is going through terrible difficulties with his home life, and, again, people here have donated money and offered him a roof over his head, all out of the kindness of their hearts.
Going back towards the computer/DC side of things, we have a very close community. The Team morale is super high, and there is support all round, and congratulations and celebrations when the Team passes others, and when members hit milestones.
I think, that in choosing Team Anandtech, you will become a member of the best Teams in the world, maybe not in rankings (however you can help change that), but in the people that make up the Team. Team Anandtech is not about the numbers (although that does play some role), it is the community spirit, and the feeling you get from being here.
I wouldn't be anywhere else.
