which makes the most sense (gives you the most bang for the buck) etc.:

1 buying an abit vp6 (a dual processor mobo) with 2 pent 733 cpu and overclocking them,
while running win2000

OR

2 buying an abit kt7a raid spending the same amt for one cpu (instead of 2) to get a AMD THUNDERBIRD ATHLON 1200 MHZ and overclocking it while running win2k?

would either my operating system (win 2k) or my applications run faster on the vp6 or the kt7a raid given all else is equal?

side questions: does the fact that the p3 733 runs at 133mgh make it faster then a p3 750 running at 100?

what are good fans for the cpus? silver orb or GlobalWin FOP32-1?
i run more then one program at a time but usually only one is being used at a time.
