Which Switch supports 4-byte ASN?

Guys, I am deciding on which switch to get but i am not sure which of the following switches support BGP Session with 4-byte ASN.

These are L2-L4 switches.
And it matters if you want to announce your own ASN.

Catalyst 4948E should support a 4-byte ASN. You'll need Enterprise Services code with 15.1 or higher.

The Catalyst 4948 non-E does not.

To answer your question, layer 3 switches provide significantly better forwarding rates than routers at equivalent price points. Layer 3 switches are primarily used in most enterprise networks instead of routers because of this. "Routers" are used where more features are necessary (packet shaping, additional interface types, etc).
