My friend is about to get the AMD 1.2, 1.33, or 1.4 (still not sure). Which steppings should we be looking for and where can we get them. Also, do most of these CPUs come unlocked already?

May or not be unlocked, but unlocking is so easy, don't worry about it.

I've done it before but would like to have it unlocked already so I don't need to worry about it.
 
The 1.4 will most likely overclock the best. I'm pretty sure they come overclocked and I think you will get an ayhja. Just me thinking though.
