Hello,

Which SSD is more reliable: Intel 320 Sata2 120GB or OCZ Vertex 3 120GB SATA3? Which one would you recommend me to get? Thank you.

Regards,

The Intel, by more than a country mile.

If reliability is your #1 concern, either get an Intel 320, Crucial M4, or Samsung 830.

Intel over OCZ anyday and any of those three mentioned. I'd still go Intel but only because of experience.

Intel is the most reliable, but the crucial and samsung are faster. Btw, I'm still chugging along with my x25m g2, and it's more than fast enough for me. Any ssd after a spindle drive feels like magic.

Same here, I've been eyeing the 512gig Crucial M4 because it's like $750~ versus a 600gig Intel 320 @ $1000+.

I wish these damn prices would drop and everyone could go SSD :)

Everyone can. Just not drives beyond 120-240GB necessarily but so what? Unless you're constantly transferring between drives you should be fine with 120-240GB as an OS/apps/some games drive. It's a massive improvement over hdd. Keeping things you don't access as frequently or that don't require more performance are still ok on a spindle.

Having said that I also eagerly await more price drops and agree about Intel. However I am an OCZ user. :)
