Which SSD for WinXP SP3

I've been slogging through the forums and really don't know any more now than before I started. Which SSD would be best for using under WinXP SP3?

For XP, most likely a sandforce based drive.
Though, some OEMs do have utilities to use their drive as well.

Any Intel drive, G2 or later - by far. Why? Because you can use the Intel SSD toolbox, which can schedule a TRIM run once a week. I have machines running Windows XP, using both Intel and Sandforce (OCZ) based SSDs. The Intel systems are as fast as they were from day 1, while the Sandforce systems have slowed down noticeably. Do yourself a favor and get an Intel drive.

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

I have to say, from my own personal experience, an Intel G1 drive is better than an Agility II over time, in Windows XP. The Sandforce drives aren't bad, but they noticeably slow down, and its annoying as hell that there aren't convenient tools to restore their performance in XP.

The cheapest one possible, since XP has less than three years of support remaining. Once on Newegg, there was an OCZ for $119 on their "Shell Shocker" deals.
