I have a home stereo receiver/amp with a pair of bookshelf speakers and a sub that I am using with my computer now. Which soundcard would be my best choice with this setup, and how would I hook up the different channels for 3D sound? Would positional audio(EAX, A3D) still work alright with this setup? Thanks guys!

You're gonna get responses for SBLive, Acoustic Edge, Santa Cruz, and Game Theater XP.
SBLive isn't doing too good these days. Santa Cruz and Game Theater XP are pretty much the same and are great cards. Acoustic Edge is also a great card (I have one) and it rocks. You pretty much can't go wrong, but i'd vote against SBLive
