Hello, I want to choose one of the following sound cards (no other options) and all of them cost more or less the same (Only ASUS Xonar DG is from the store, all the others are used):

ASUS Xonar DG

Creative EMU 0404

Creative Audigy 2 ZS

M Audio Audiophile 2496

Sound Blaster Audigy SB1394

So the question is - which one of all these cards is the best one? Will be used for games (mostly rpg and strategy) and music (everything except rock and metal)
Edit: I'm using Edifier R1900Tii (06)

I want to try something new for a change.
Also I've heard lots of positive opinions about discrete sound cards. That they provide clearer and more satisfying sound quality, etc.

Well to be honest this is the most costy one. However all the other cards cost the same. If it's really good I'll take it.
Any other opinions, please?

that asus card looks nice and has received loads of good feed back from customers. Plus it has nice headphone support should you ever get a nice headphone/headset

Need a fourth opinion, please :D Also it seems I could get a sound blaster audigy 4. For the moment ASUS looks the most appealing to me because of good reviews/userfeedback, because it's cheap and because it's the only one that I'd buy with a warranty.
Edit:
I'm leaning towards ASUS Xonar DG more and more. However, I'm being held back because it seems it's very headphone-users oriented and I don't plan to be wearing headphones in my room, especially when I have a decent set of speakers.
