For beginners, which free soft can you use to test the read and write speed of your SSD or HDD. Since i have them in an older system i just wanna see how well they perform.
And which soft do you best use to bench everyday applications? I'm not sure if you can also get the soft ananadtech, tomshardware etc.. use to bench drives, but are these easy enough to use?
Finally, when I have Chrome open with 15-20 tabs, should an SSD (in an older laptop!) benifit from this or is this all about CPU and RAM that matters.. not sure how Chrome could actually benifit from an SSD.. hope somebody can clarify this.
