I just got an Ipod last Friday and have seen that people use different types of software to transmit and edit songs. I'm curious what do you guys use. I have used mainly Itunes, i used ehpod for a bit but didn't really like it.
Before iTunes for Windows was released I used Ephpod. It works well. Now that iTunes is out, I have been using that. Works well on the PC and I like that I can use the Rendevous file sharing to share my library between my PCs and my Mac.
I'm a little confused over the whole ipod for mac and windows thing. If you have firewire on a pc and a mac, can you hook up your ipod to both, or just whichever that your ipod supports? I'm considering buying an ipod and an Ibook to complement my pc...
It won't support both Mac and PC at the same time as the hard drive is formatted to one or the other.
As far as software goes, iTunes all the way. It works absolutely seemlessly with the iPod. The only thing I don't like about it is that you can't query online music DBs to change the tags. Other than that, it's awesome.
