i have to rebuild my gf's cpu and i need to know which mobo is the cheepest that supports stable o/cing. dont need ata100 or other perks

I'd go with either the MSI K7T Pro2 or the Epox board. Those are the two cheapest OC boards available. Featurewise the MSI is a little better, but both will work.
 
I think your best bet right may be specifically the Epox EP-KTA+, rather than the Epox EP-KTA (which has no overclocking dip switches) or the Epox EP-KTA2 (dipswitches & ATA-100 controller, but ~$11 more expensive). A company in New Jersey called CNETPC.com is hawking the EP-KTA+ for $106 right now with free shipping. I received my board in about a week, and it was indeed the + version, despite some confusion on the company's web page.
 
I'd say definitely go with an MSI K7T Pro2, no questions asked. It's the most stable and one of the best performing Socket-A boards on the market now. You won't be disappointed at all.
