What he said. It shows if its dual channel mode or not. If not, shut down and move it over. It is weird though. Some boards have oposite colors for dual channel, but like for the epox 9npa+, its the same color. It just depends.
Having them in the same color slots next to eachother was actually a problem for me a little bit. My memory has heatspreaders and theres a wire clamp or whatever its called that holds it on(corsair XMS). The dimms being next to eachother wouldnt go in. I had to move the clamp down a little bit so it would at least go into the slot. Both of my dimms do touch eachother, I dont think thats a problem but....I would have rather had them in opposite color slots.
