Which size PSU do I need for this?

Hello,

I am building a mini-itx pc for music production. Here are the specs:

CPU: Intel i7 7700 with stock fan (may replace fan with another)
RAM : 16gb DDR4
Drives: 2 TB SATA HDD and a 256gb SSD
GPU: GTX 1050
FANS: 1x 200mm fan and 2x 80mm fans
OS: Windows 10 64 bit

I won't be purchasing the GPU or SSD right now but I'll be adding them later on

400W will be fine. You could get away with less, but it's hard to find PSUs below 400W nowaways unless you go with SFX format.

In terms of capacity it doesn't require much. With the parts you listed I would be shocked if it pulled more than 200W even with everything pegged. For most use cases you're probably at around 100W power draw. If you want something cheap but decent and you're in the US, this is a pretty good deal right now for an 80+ Bronze unit.

Go for 500 watts and at least 20amps on 12V rails for safe side.

400W is perfectly safe for that system. Since it's for music production and not gaming, you don't need extra headroom for upgrading the graphics card. But 20A@+12V is only 240W, what ridiculous crappy quality 500W or even 400W unit has such a weak +12V rail? Stay away from units like that. +12V should account for the vast majority of the rated wattage.

Corsair CX450M is cheap and decent enough quality:

However if you want to emphasize quality and low noise, spend some extra on Seasonic Focus Gold, for instance.
