These are for casual hanging out shoes, not anything extremely athletic.

Adidas ZX500

Nike Octane II SL

Vans Rowley XLT

Adidas Attitude DBL

I'd go with the masterpiece low, or the Vans Rowley XLT if they didn't have the Masterpieces in my size.

Those are all stupid looking shoes. They were cool back in 1996. Edit: Actually now I see that the ZX 500 is an 80s running shoe. So I choose that one.
