i owned the jordan XVII's until they started to kill my feet.. so i returned them to footlocker and got the following shoes

-Adidas SL1 in Black
-Adidas SL1 in White
-The New Iversons "I3"

Plus some store credit

I have always been a huge nike fan, but give the iversons a shot.. they are very comfortable because of the leather pading around the back of the foot..

I don't play basketball so I bought a pair of Nike Air Octane's for $64.99 - 30% off = $45.49 during their last sale a few months ago. I think the in store price was about $20 cheaper than online.

I bought these because I owned a pair of New Balance shoes and wasn't impressed with their build quality and durability. All the Adidas's were ugly, these looked cool, are very comfortable and supportive, best of all they didn't cost $100, the price was just right.
