1) 2.4C at 3.1 ghz (highest I could get it stable 🙁 ) with the ram @ DDR413, 2.5-7-3-3
2) 2.53b at 3.4 ghz, ram at DDR358, tighter timings

on an Abit IC7. all I'm interested in is gaming. whaddya think? is it worth my time to switch them for the extra 300 mhz?

Well, memory timings aren't as important as they used to be with pc100-133 mem, so I wouldn't really worry about the tighter timings a whole lot.

What vid card are you using? I'd go for the higher clock speed if it's a 9700/9800, as they really thrive the more you throw at them. Otherwise, I would suspect that you wouldn't gain much by doing it, and toi leave a stable, good system alone.

Using a Ti4200 right now, will probably upgrade to a 9800 in the next little while...

I won't be able to get my hands on the 2.53b right now, but there is a nice little 2.4 sl6rz in one of my work machines that may be able to clock pretty high for some comparison benchies. 😎
