From academic standpoint, ideally you chase the professor, not necessarily the school. First thing to do is decide on what particular subject you want to be an expert of. After that, you look up who the leading world experts are on that subject, and where they are teaching. Those will be the best schools for you.

It's kind of hand-in-hand with the professors. But if some awesomesauce prof teaching at the MIT Business School starts also facilitating an MOOC through University of Phoenix or Coursera, that doesn't suddenly make those your best choice.![]()
