I'm pretty sure everyone here knows I subscribe to the Austrian School.
I've always thought it sucked that people get the classical/Chicago school confused with the Austrian one. History books teach that Hoover followed the Austrian School policies and that Keynesian policies where necessary to correct it. Nothing could be further from the truth.
Prominent followers of the Chicago/classical school include Jack Kemp and Ronald Reagan.
Prominent followers of the Keynesian school include FDR and BHO. Herbert Hoover had Keynesian tendencies, but he did not favor going off the Gold Standard.
The Austrian School includes Steven Baker, Ron Paul, and Martin Van Buren. Warren G Harding had Austrian tendencies, although he was a protectionist and never mentioned getting rid of the Federal Reserve. Grover Cleveland had Austrian tendencies, but he supported an anti-trust suit as well as the ICC. John Tyler, Jackson, and Jefferson had Austrian tendencies.
This post shows what a dumbass I am even though almost everything in it is right.
