I'm in the market for a new scanner. Need one for less than $400 though.
PCWorld picked the Epson Perfection 1200U as the top of their "SOHO" scanner list. They say the price is like $250. I could find it for less though. It has a res. of 1200x2400
Their first pick for "corporate" scanners was the Canon CanoScan FB 1200S. Price is said to be $300. It features 1200x1200 res. This is a SCSI model with card.
Anyone have comments on these scanners or ANY OTHERS? I would like a really good for the money. SCSI and USB will work.
Do I wait for a better one to come out. Are there good ones with high-bit A/D converters and good color accuracy.
This is the hard part of spending money -- knowing WHAT to get.
If anyone could help, I would greatly appreciate it. Anandtech is great
. Thanks.
