I have been playing the game "No One Lives Forever" and have run into some problems where the environment gets unusually dark once in a while. I went to the game's website and there was a suggestion on there to use the reference drivers for the video card. I tracked them down at S3's site, but I have never used anything but the normal drivers for the card (of course, with updates as available). There are two drivers that look like they may work:
1)Logo'd: Savage4 Windows 9x Version 8.20.31 S3_AGP - 11/07/00
2)S3 Windows 9x Logo'd display driver v 8.20.11 3/10/00 for Savage 4 (DeviceID 8A22) - 07/25/00
Can I assume I should just use #1, the most recent one? And, just out of curiosity, what does "Logo'd" mean?
