Which router to get?

What ever happened to the DI-604. Before you trash it I would reflash the firmware even if it already the latest version. I know you don't trust the router but sometimes that solves the problem. I seen quite a few router from Linksys " and others that were acting buggy and working just fine after flashing them with same firmware that is on the router currently. Just thought you might want to try it.

As for routers the low end stuff is pretty much all the same quality and most of it is made by the same few manufacturers and then rebranded by the by each networking company. It just depends on the box you get. Linksys's router seem pretty stable and work well but have limited warranties. I like SMC for their lifetime warranty, granted most of there stuff is rebranded box's to. Linksys's and D-Link both only have a 1 year warrantys on most of there cable/DSL routers.
