which router has better secuirty

Well, considering Linksys is made by Cisco, it's not like they couldn't figure it out. I don't have one so I can't give you that side. I do know however that the Netgear router I have is just as secure(or insecure) as any other consumer router. There really won't be a difference beyond some weird proprietary feature or two. If you want good security, you shouldn't be looking at this kind of stuff, but they will all keep you safe from most things.

You may want to try the Networking Forum but my two cents are with Linksys.

There is No better or best.

There are differences in the Router's features, you have to find the one that fits your needs,

Get one with NAT and SPI (stateful packet inspection) and you'll be fine.
