which refresh fix for gf4 in xp?

Hey everybody!!
I went to guru3d and the download aint happening for some reason. So I went to voodoofiles and there was this huge list of refresh fixes and I I am not sure which to use. Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance.

NVRefreshTool 2.1 from here is one of the best ones for 2k/XP,easy to use and I know lots of people including myself that use it 😉.

Thankyou so much fellas, I really appreciate it. One more thing though, does the nvrefresh 2.1 truly detect all the max refresh rates or you have to play aorund to truly find out and is that possible without damaging your monitor? Thanx again 🙂.

It`s default setting is safe,however I prefer to customize my own setting for each resolution,it really is a personal thing setting wise.Try the default setting it should be good enough for you.

Refresh Force (ReForce) is the best refresh rate fixer available IME. It'll work on any video card with any driver set provided you turn off DDC information in your drivers.

That`s fine if it works for you,but it never worked for me and I followed all the FAQs on RefreshForce troubleshooting 😉.Ironically RefreshLock did work for me but that uses a small amount of memory,that`s why I went back to NVRefreshTool .
