Which ram would you recommend for modest overclocking of a 3200 venice?

Corsair VS, Kingston Value RAM, or KingMax Value RAM with 5:6 memory divider will allow you to run at 250MHz FSB (around 2.5GHz speed if you happen to have a good CPU).

My Corsair VS is good up to about 268MHz FSB at 5:6 mem divider. I'm currently running at 255MHz FSB.

Yeah my mushkin value RAM will run 220 MHz+ at 2.5-3-3.. It is at 212.5 right now (CPU at 2.55 with 5:6 divder). Just gt value RAM and use a divider...

Just buy the cheapest PC3200 value ram you can find that is from a reputable manufactuer. Read zebo's ram sticky at the top of this forum. The A64 Mem controller archetecture does not penalize you that much for running your ram with a ram divider. In most apps the diff between cheap PC3200 value ram using a ram divider and the most expensive OCers ram is only 2-8%. Save the money you would spend on better ram and put it towards something else.

You should be able to find 1G (512M x 2) PC3200 value ram dual channel kits for under $78
