Hi Everyone :)

I have a MBP 2012 July model. I want to increase the RAM in the system. Currently i have the default 4GB 1600MHz DDR3 204 pin ram.

SO i have shortlisted two models for the same. Please suggest which one to go for !

GSKill FA-1600C11S-4GSQ http://www.gskill.com/en/product/fa-1600c11s-4gsq

Gskill F3-12800CL9S-4GBSQ http://www.gskill.com/en/product/f3-12800cl9s-4gbsq

While the latter one has lower CAS latency but the former model states it is custom made for MACs.. I am not sure why can't i go with the latter one !

Check which memory is compatible with your laptop at Crucial.
That will give you the specs and configuration for your model.

get the 2nd one, it will work fine. Any 1600 MHz PC3-12800 DDR3 SDRAM will work.
I had regular non-mac G.Skill in my 2010 MBP, no issues.
