Patriot Extreme Performance PC-3200 memory is designed to operate at extreme low latency timings at 400MHz on both Intel and AMD based motherboards.

Is that a fast speed for RAM? 400MHz?

DDR RAM is double-pumped (hence the first D in DDR). It will actually run at 200 MHz, but it performs as if it were at 400 MHz... It is similar to Intels quad pumped FSB. It runs at 200 MHz, but is 800 MHz effective.

Hmm.. cool..

So is 400MHz "operating performance" or what not kind of like uhh.. is it like the fastest for RAM? or does it get higher
