Which RAM should I get?

Sorry guys, the first link is for:
Kingston Technology HyperX 512MB PC4000 DDR DIMM Memory for $128 - $8 rebate = $120 w/ free shipping.

Thanks!

Mushkin 512MB PC3200, CL 2.5-4-4 = $83 at newegg
Kingston 512MB PC4000, CL 3-4-4 = $128 -rebate
Mushkin 512MB PC3200, CL 2-3-3 = $130 ($255 + shipping for 2-pack at mushkin)
Kingston 512MB PC3200 = CL 2-3-2-6 = $132 at newegg
OCZ 512MB PC3200, CL 2-3-2-5 = $125 at newegg
Mushkin 512MB PC3200 = CL 2-2-2 = $170 ($335 + shipping for 2-pack at mushkin)

Is there a reason you want PC4000? You'd have to OC past the speed of an FX-53 before you needed PC4000.

Your best value is probably either 2 x Mushkin Blue CL 2.5 for $166

or 2 x OCZ Enhanced Latency Platinum CL 2-3-2-5 for $250

I might avoid that cheap Mushkin because of the last comment it got, though. Seeing as Mushkin, Kingston & OCZ all have good CL2 in the $260 range, it really doesn't matter. I don't think I'd pay $335 for CL 2-2-2.

I'm a Kingston fan through and through... it's in our servers at work, it's in my PC's at home.. fast and reliable. (I have Hyper-X PC3500 at home and I love it)

i just got some corsair xms at fry's for $299
i think thats a pretty good deal
it was 2x512mb pc4000 pro (its the ones with the lights)

The 2-2-2 is as good as it gets, but I'd love to see some benchmarks comparing, say, Mushkin 2-3-3, OCZ 2-3-2, and Mushkin 2-2-2.

I usually think it's worth it to get a good brand of CL 2, but I somehow doubt that paying another 50% more for 2-2-2 helps much.

If you are looking for PC4000 RAM, which one only be necessary if you are planning on some major FSB overclocking, then the HyperX is the best deal. I got a gb of my dual channel PC4000 HyperX for $210. One stick through a BB sale, and another stick from a friend. The stuff has been great, I have it running @ DDR520 without any problems, and am sure it could go further but am CPU limited.
