Which RAM is the best for my Mobo?

Hi All

I have a memory question if someone with some expertise would be kind enough to help me with..

I have a fairly modern-ish set-up:
Athlon XP64 3500 Winchester
MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum with 1gig of Dual Channel Crucial pc3200 ram
3x WD SATA hdd's
Radeon X800XT
..and a few more besides, all put together in a nice Aluminium Coolermaster case

Now, I'm thinking my ram is about 2yrs old so does it need upgrading? Could it be holding back my system?
You see I'm wondering with all the new types of ram available, if it was being held back by my current ram which would be the best/fastest I could use if i got some new?
Or would it be better just adding another gig of the same ram?

Finally, I'd better say I'm not wanting to spend a fortune, so don't try to get me to overload my Credit card as I'm busy saving for my next upgrade

Stick with that ram. It's still some good stuff.
If you must upgrade, get a 2GB kit of Value ram.
