Which RAM for 2600K / Asus P67 Deluxe - not overclocking

Trying to decide on RAM for a new build. Going with 8GB of G.Skill with 1 of the following specs:

RipjawsX 1333 CL9 - $77
RipjawsX 1333 CL7 - $103
RipjawsX 1600 CL9 - $99
RipjawsX 1600 CL8 - $135

Which way should I go?

Just be sure the cooling fins on the ripjaws isn't going to interfere with any CPU cooler. It'd suck to have to cut them off in order to use the RAM and cooler.

just make sure the ram is 1.5V not the junky 1.65V or higher.

and watch out for the cooling fins. they really are not necessary if you have proper case cooling. I have 18 dimms in a server with no heatsinks @ 1.5V with a 😉 a sea of sensors showing how cool they are. passively cooled no problem RDIMM DDR3.

same with my mac pro. passive cooling no heatsink ddr3 udimm.

I think a proper oem design or flowing case doesn't need the heatsinks. more show than go. I am sure if you increase the power then that may change things but ripjaws aren't really an optimal heatsink design. they really should be simple clip on pieces of thin aluminum unless you are blazing 1.8V to 1.5V chips lol. some people do that.

According to specs I have found they are 40mm in height and my CPU cooler (Noctua NH-D14 provides 44mm of clearance - according to Noctua website, they list Ripjaws as fitting under).

So, just CL9 1333 is the best bet?
