Which RAM can I upgrade with?

Is your 1 GB in one or two SO-DIMM's (1 GB or 2 x 512 MB)? If it's a single stick, you only need one more matching stick, which will save you money.

Check the speed of your RAM. Acer's spec page for your model says it can use DDR2 533/667MHz soDIMM. If your machine has 533 MHz RAM, and you add a stick of faster MHz RAM, it will probably work, but it will default to the slower speed.

Newegg shows this page for 1 GB sticks of PC533 starting at $22.49.

If you're near a Fry's Electronics, and you need 2 x 1 GB, they have 2 x 1 GB of Patriot PC533 for $50.99 after a $10 rebate that would save you some bucks. 😎

If you're going to buy two sticks, you can buy 2 x 1 GB of PC677 for a little more speed.
